The Foundation Course is an excellent introduction to learning Italian. The course follows a logical process and is truly foundational as it builds your knowledge of Italian piece by piece. The classes as presented online are very helpful, and the availability of sala studios to study with your classmates, as well as the weekly Saturday conversation, are all extremely helpful. As an added bonus, I find that the people taking this class with me are interesting, friendly people. Once I complete the Foundation Course, I am looking forward to the next set of courses.

I have practiced Italian using Duolingo, Babble, and self-study books. The Foundations Course has been the catalyst for me to learn Italian. From the materials, study sessions, and lessons with Lucia, it’s the perfect combination to learn the language. The Foundation Course provided me with helpful words/phrases used in everyday Italian. My understanding of the language has significantly improved. Not only can I understand much more of the language, but can speak in short sentences. I know the proper use of words now that I correct my father, who is fluent! I have really enjoyed this course. Grazie! 🙂

I just completed the “Learn Italian Go ” foundation course this fall. If you have a desire to learn the Italian language, this course is a great place to start. Lucia and the other instructors are very helpful, and all of the students were wonderful to interact with. I was a little apprehensive at first, but that quickly disappeared. If you have a love for the Italian language, don’t hesitate to get started right away!

The foundation course is an online Italian class with in-person elements that covers basic grammar and focuses on conversation. It is a very nice environment for learning and a welcoming community. You can just do your class session each week, or you can take advantage of the many other materials and experiences on offer. Learn Italian Go is amazing! It is a wonderful platform for learning Italian in a friendly, welcoming space. The teachers are fantastic and they get you speaking from day one! If you want to learn Italian, sign up, you won’t regret it!

This is an excellent language course. I wish it could be reproduced for other languages. Not only does it teach what you would learn in a classroom but having all native Italian speakers teaches the little innuendos of the language. All of the teachers are incredibly patient and helpful in teaching you not only the grammar but getting you to actually interact and speak. The conversational component is not something you can learn alone or with a regular online non-interactive class. I would highly recommend this program.

I have taken several courses to learn to speak Italian. Many were much more expensive but did not help me to learn to speak this beautiful language of my homeland. This course is perfect if you want to learn remotely with relevant homework assignments and excellent teachers to guide you. This is a five star course and so happy I enrolled, planning on graduating to the next level and speaking even better!

The Foundation Course is amazing. It is thorough and you will learn a tremendous amount about the Italian language. Most of it is self-study which is helpful as you can work on it on your own time schedule. The course is very thorough, and the instructors are very committed to the learners.

I never give reviews but in this case I will sort of side step my rule. The material was challenging but if you want to put in the work the Foundation Course is a great place to check your desire level and commitment level to create a base for learning the Italian language. Teachers were very committed, helpful and made the classes fun. However, be prepared to commit a number of hours per week which is a good thing. I truly enjoyed every minute of my work, class time and sala studio.

The Foundation Course is a great way to get started with Italian. The course is laid out in an organized way, and you are encouraged to keep up with the work because of the live classes each week. The classes are fun and we laugh a lot during them. It’s easy to go back and review work from previous lessons and to watch Lucia’s videos again. The instructors have been very responsive to any questions that I have asked through the chat feature. I am now able to greet someone and tell them about myself and my family, and ask about theirs. I can ask for things that I want in a restaurant or store. I can write emails to my cousin in Italy. I can also listen to podcasts in Italian and understand a lot of what is being said.

Before I started the Foundation Course, I was very nervous and had no confidence that, no matter how much I tried, I would never be able to speak, understand the lessons given. The course is 100% worth it. It’s not playtime though. Be prepared to commit several hours per week to it, work hard, and learn. Overall, a very rewarding and enjoyable experience. The foundation Course is well structured, and each lesson builds on the previous lesson or lessons. Before taking the course, I could not speak any meaningful Italian other than a handful of words. Now I am reasonably able to discuss my family in simple terms, ask basic questions, properly conjugate and use verbs, etc.

The organization of the lessons and material covered in the Foundation Course, which consists of 20 lessons, is very comprehensive and well done. Each lesson is thoughtfully planned and tailored to the beginner. Lucia is always available to answer questions, even when I am working late into the night.
Overall, I highly recommend Lucia as an Italian teacher and her Foundation Course. Her language skills, lesson organization, and teaching style make her an excellent choice for anyone looking to learn to speak Italian. With her help, I have made significant progress in my Italian language skills and have gained confidence in speaking and understanding the language. I plan to be her student for many years to come!
